MusicMan have got the Stingray 5 right - at last.

You mean there are other basses? :D This is where those discussions go.

Looks even better in person. It's the sacred Tranny Teal, with matching headstock. I overexposed the photo to show the body wood grain . She has a beautiful greenish blue patina.

I have two Stingray 5s, one H and one HH. The HH is my main gigger and it is beautiful. It is my Runestone bass as it has hooked X's on the back. It is Honeyburst with a Tortoise pickguard. I would have preferred a pearl pickguard and still may change it. Depends on whether I end up with an L2500 in the next few weeks.-- Darwin

This is my Stingray 5 pickguard. This is a restoration in Shell Pink. I finished the neck with Birchwood Casey Tru Oil. -- Darwin

I'm happy that the 5 now looks more like the traditional 4-- but I'm also a HUGE MM Stingray/Saber fan, so theres that :)
