G&L going Vintage Reissue

This is the main discussion and technical forum for G&L and Tribute by G&L basses. Please limit the discussion to G&L and Tribute by G&L. Simple questions regarding mods are okay, but really belong in the EBA or Paul's Technicalities.

Please; no links to other forums except as noted in the forum guidelines. Discussion of new instrument MSRP is okay, as is discussion of options pricing. However, there shall be no discussion of MAP or final negotiated pricing for new instruments. Used pricing is generally fair game.

I agree Scott, the neck on mine is super comfortable and easy to play. I like the tone of mine but I'm still longing to try an ash bodied one, I have a thing for ash L2000s.

Unknown. They new ones are available in a limited selection of finishes, which would generally indicate a limited run. However, G&L has a long history of "never say never", so we really won't know unless they magically disappear.

I haven't had hands-on, but probably pretty similar. There have been a lot of advancements over the years as well as construction differences, but the electronics are the same.

You know how two of the same basses will usually have a slightly different tone? Kinda like that.
