Peavey T-40 Date of Manufacture

You mean there are other basses? :D This is where those discussions go.

ROTFL!

If he makes it down around the 91 I'll stick a foot out.

Dagnabbit. I ran him down just before he reached Tucson and got my phone. However, I'm told the file is too big. I shrank it down as much as possible. I'll have to take another shot and try again...Jim

Guys, I give up. I shrank the file size down as far as it would go with my photo editing software and I still get told it's too large for the forum. I'll try something else later this week. For now, I'm still out of breath from chasing that troll, so I'm gonna kick back with a brewski...Jim

Email it to me in its original size & form. I'll re-size & post for you.

Dang, Ken, I can't even figure out how to attach the original photo to an email to you. That's really frustrating and embarrassing because I email photos I take all the time. I see the size has to be something like 256 kb to post on the site, and this photo is nearly 4 times that size, something like 962 kb. The original is a jpg file, and I tried a bmp file to see if I could downsize it any more. I have yet to try a png file. I'll mess with it later. It's late and I'm getting frustrated. I'll give it one more try to email you, then it's time to wrap it up and kick back. Thanks for you help and understanding. Heck, I need to get pics of my G&Ls posted here...Jim

Almost. You did upload it as an attachment, but it looked kind of ragged. I replaced it with the one you sent last night.

The one you sent was well within the limits of the board. I just dropped it into place as-is without having to resize.

Nice looking old bass, BTW. Congrats!

Oooh, that's a purty one. Looks to be in great shape. Congrats!

I wonder what would happen if I stood outside the G&L shop with a sign that said "will work for bass."

A special thank you, Ken. I'm learning. And "TDR1138", check the employment section on their website. Last I saw, they were hiring!...Jim
