Info on my bass

This is the support forum for G&L and Tribute by G&L basses. Please limit the discussion to G&L and Tribute by G&L.

No sales or advertisements, no matter how well veiled, are permitted - not even a pointer elsewhere. Discussion of pricing of used instruments (What's It Worth?) is perfectly fine so long as it doesn't turn into a sales feeler. However, as per G&L policy, there can be no discussion of new instrument pricing. Please contact your favorite dealer and kindly keep the quote to yourself.

Welcome to BassesByLeo!

I've moved your post to the G&L forum because, well, it's about a G&L bass!

The L-5500 is the predecessor to the current L-2500. EMG pickups and preamp were used while the 5 string MFD pickups and G&L preamp were being developed. They're big, brawny basses with a clean and somewhat sterile tone.

That ought to get things started.

Got a bigger pic? 1024x768 is a good size for forum. Besides, we likes us some blue basses.
