NYC Tech for L-2K Wiring Mods?

Does anybody know a good guitar tech (in the NYC area) who's got experience with G&L L-2000 wiring mods? After I complained to my current tech (who's generally quite good) that my second-hand L-2K was producing hum in serial mode (I didn't realize that it might've been wired for OMG mode) he put the wiring back to spec. I instantly regretted it and have been trying to get the bass back to its (slightly noisy) former glory ever since. He's revisited it a couple of times to try to put back OMG mode (assuming that's what was there in the first place) but hasn't gotten it right. So any recommendations would be appreciated.
