It's spring - we're all out working on our yards and gardens!

Sunny and mild temps in Northern California/Sacramento valley. But windy and pollens are massively kickin allergy butt...sniff, cough, itch, ugh. My LB-100 keeps on truckin however :D

We've had a few days of reasonably warm weather without too much rain (temperatures around 20 - 25C, 70 - 80F) so that was probably our summer.

I've even had shorts on for 3 days, I only managed around that many all last summer!

I still look in regularly Ken. Trying to figure out how I'm going to convince the Mrs that even though I have 2 L2000s I need a custom L2500!
Any pointers?
G&L basses are still the best kept secret within the bass community.

I'm with jcburn, just lurking. No dispensable money = no new basses to brag about. I suppose I can sit and wax poetic about how much I love L-2000s. They are the shiznit.

Back in '98 - '99 - 2000, the Guitars by Leo forum, then hosted by Brad W Traweek and frequented by such in-the-know G&L aficionados as Greg Gagliano of GG Jaguar's Guitarium and Ampeteria, had a daily lunch report.

The Guitars by Leo daily lunch report maintained site activity, developed community among regulars, and included one regular nominating another each week to act as the following week's lunch reporter.

The nomination accepted, each weekday the week's lunch reporter would report at least on what he or she ate for lunch that day. About as often, he or she would share a G&L-related observation or pose a G&L-related question that would generate discussion of G&L guitars and basses, the brand, the company, its founders, its owners, etc.

Should Basses by Leo have a daily lunch report, too?

I recall those bygone days of yore.

We can certainly try a BbL Lunch Report. It does take a community willing to commit to it, as GuitarsByLeo found with their move to the phpBB forum from Brad's original conference that the Registry is still based upon. Perhaps a modern Lunch Report would only involve a single day rather than a week; Craig refers to it as an Open Mic Report".
