Markth30 - L-2000 discussion

This is the main discussion and technical forum for G&L and Tribute by G&L basses. Please limit the discussion to G&L and Tribute by G&L. Simple questions regarding mods are okay, but really belong in the EBA or Paul's Technicalities.

No links to other forums except as noted in the forum guidelines. Discussion of MSRP is okay, as is discussion of options pricing. However, there shall be no discussion of MAP or final negotiated pricing

Cristiano, you will do better to follow the drawings I linked to you earlier. This one would be very confusing to try to follow.

Ken I followed the drawings thanks to the bass does not sound like it came out of the factory

Your picture above looks like the wiring in a completely stock L2000 from 1998 or before. Those green capacitors are original.

I don't have your bass in front of me, so all I can do is recommend that you follow the drawings in your original thread. The circuit used in this message thread is for an older bass that has electronics that are a bit different than yours. Let's continue this in your thread.
