So, Dave says that "with the OMG we've already kind of got this extra punch with the top end kind of sizzle."

How can you have sizzle if it's actually just a massive treble cut?

It's only a treble cut from one coil, the rest of the effect is series wiring which gives you more output.

It is usually pretty hard to see fine-grained flame on bare unfinished maple. Wet it a little with water or light thinner (naptha, for example) and it'll pop until whatever you used evaporates.
