Yes, that is an El Toro, 1984. I will confirm tonight on the neck dots and let you know!

Both of the L-1000s have the 1/16 side marker dots, white toggle, and no birth mark. Pretty interesting stuff!

Have you ever seen L-1000 in natural mahogany?
Here's mine fro 1981, can't find any trace of other finish on it...
