History of Cases

OMG!!! Mode, that is. This is the forum for a true G&L monster, the L-1000. Simple, passive, and huge, the Wunkay speaks volumes for the G&L sound.

History of Cases

Okay, so everyone knows that the earliest G&Ls had a G&G tolex case with short orange nap, and sometime in 1981 they went to a Brown Fur. Does anyone know when that changed, and changed to what? Getting an original case with a bass seems to be a rarity these days.

Okay, so apparently they went to a black fur after 1984-ish. Thanks for the link.
