Whichever you fancy. Alligator clips are very quick and easy, the terminal strip a bit more secure and semi-permanent.

A lot depends on whether you can return the pickups if you don't like them.

If you don't mind risking wrecking a pickup I would certainly worth a try fitting new magnets, you will be amazed at the difference. I have just ordered another set of neo magnets to do a second Chinese MM pickup. Looks my hack bass is going to be HH soon.
