Where is Chris' original info? And I quote... I’ve blocked a bunch of rooms under the name “G and L Guitars” for a discounted rate of $112/night. That includes free Internet in your room. I think you’ll like this hotel a lot . . . I had lunch there the other day, and the food was GREAT! Nice bar, public area, pool, etc.

What's the weather like out there?! Weather forecast from NWS. Link opens in new window or tab. Forecast should be current for whenever forecast is viewed. Mid-July in inland Orange County California can be pretty toasty, with daytime highs running from the mid-80's to the upper 90's. Dress for comfort.
Airline and local transport info: Orange County / John Wayne Airport (SNA) is an easy drive if you choose to rent a car. Super Shuttle service is $26 one way, shared, $9 per additional adult in a party (4/24/08 rates). You can book Southwest, United, and other airlines in and out of SNA. Long Beach Airport (LGB) is also an easy drive if you choose to rent a car. Super Shuttle service is $39 one way, shared, $9 per additional adult in a party (4/24/08 rates). LGB is a jetBlue hub with lots of flights in and out. You'll really want to avoid Los Angeles (LAX) because it's congested and it is a long nasty drive from there to Fullerton. Super Shuttle service is $44 one way, shared, $9 per additional adult in a party (4/24/08 rates). Ontario (ONT) is fairly easy to get in and out of, but is also quite a distance away. Super Shuttle service is $42 one way, shared, $9 per additional adult in a party (4/24/08 rates). Please remember that rush hour in the Los Angeles region can add substantially to your drive time. Morning rush is roughly 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM (depending) and evening rush is 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM (depending). Fortunately, most of the out-of-towners attending will have limited exposure to our traffic.
Other stuff to do while you're in town: You can also make a weekend of it by visiting Disneyland Resort, Knott's Berry Farm, or other local attractions. * The Angels will be home against Boston over the weekend, and the stadium is just a short hop down the 57 freeway from the Marriott.
