This is a clip of my stock L-1500 strung with D'darrio Chromes light gauge (40.-95.-) flatwounds.

I must admit, it does sound good, but sounds better with rounds.
With rounds the dynamic potential of the bass is much more pronounced, and it gives the MFD pickups a wider range to work with.
I played this one into a 30-watt roland cube.

Hi folks!

So here's a video for the new single of an artist I work for. Used my LB-100 to track the song.

Signal chain was : LB-100 ---> Demeter VTDB-2B ---> Universal Audio 1176 ---> ProTools. Then an Ampeg plugin was used in the final mix as I was told by the producer.

Here's TBBITW at a wedding last weekend, August 20. I just saw that the BL loaded it and thought I'd share.

It was definitely on the neck pickup. I'm about 75% sure it was in single coil mode/passive. Maybe parallel/passive?

Into a Tone Hammer pedal with the treble at about 10:00, the bass at about 11:00 and the mids flat. Gain pretty low at 7:30 and Master set to unity. Recorded on a GoPro type of thing. Actually, I think the sound is pretty good. Kudos to the soundman on the gig. I've worked him quite a bit over the years and he's super duper good and a super duper nice guy.
